Mame

Ostajem, a ti ideš? | Im staying and you are leaving?

Ja i dalje nisam videla lice svog deteta i nisam osetila miris tela.

•Stigla sam oko 12h, i odmah su me primili.

• I gave birth, my baby got oxygen and they saved her.  As I parted, the baby was taken to a box where other babies were housed.  I didn’t even see her …

• I lay in the hall for an hour and a half for sewing and bleeding.

• After an hour and a half, they transferred me to the room, and quickly waited for her to be brought.  A midwife came and asked me how I was and told me I had a difficult birth and that I would see the baby in the afternoon when I was sleeping.  We couldn’t sleep with excitement.

• Around midnight the midwife arrives, she wrapped the baby in blankets with barely any hair, and told me:

„Your baby has had a lot of stress in childbirth. We suspect brain damage. We need to send her urgently to Nis in the department of Neonatology.“

When she told me she turned and left.  I still didn’t see my baby’s face and I didn’t smell the body.  „What’s going on with my baby, why didn’t they show it to me?“

• Around midnight, the midwife returns from Nis and tells me that the baby is fine, the brain is fine, all organs are fine, but she has to keep it because of increased CRP.

• Days came and went and I still didn’t see and kiss my little life, I was panicked and my milk was weakening from stress.

• 21.08.2019.  at 07h come the doctor gives me a discharge list and sends for Nis at my baby.  Luck was indescribable, I couldn’t wait to get there.

• I arrived around 12am, and they immediately received me.  When I saw my angel, my princess was warm to my heart.  It was our first meeting and our introduction ..
